Great staff! Jon is the one piece guy and he’s always been great to me. Talked me into playing by telling me all the players are welcoming and helpful. And boy he wasn’t wrong! Prices on booster boxes are always extremely fair and the trade value is always awesome! And that was before I started playing the game there. Which normally stores do not seem to work with you unless you play. Sure he encouraged it but wasn’t pushy and still was always helpful. Couldn’t ask for a better place to start my one piece tcg journey. The whole crew is easy to talk with and seem to care about the customers. Excuse the punctuation 😂😂

We starting back into collecting and was a bit unsure what to ask for or do. I am beyond thankful for Micheals help. (I hope that's right) He was so informative and helpful and took his time to chat with us. We will definitely will be back!
Etown Comics has been a welcoming shop since they first opened! They have a great range of items in stock, and they host a variety of games where all are welcome. Most importantly, they make my child feel special! They answer his questions and talk with him, and they never get flustered to be talking to a kid. They are kind, patient, and fun! Also, I appreciate their business being out the fun that families can have through comics and gaming!
If your looking for a family friendly, a knowledgeable staff, a Place to set your roots in to play the childhood games we all loved as a kid or to bring your kids to let them play and trade the games they love Etown Comics is the best place for counties around. I have to praise the staff not only are they knowledgeable about multiple TCG, comics and etc. They are some of the most amazing people to just have a conversation with, and they care so much about protecting OUR TCG community and etc. I had the liberty to just listen to a conversation from one of the owners the vision and future of Etown Comics it’s truly amazing coming from a hole in wall in a mall to one of the best cards shops in the state of Kentucky they continue to show up and show out for our community. I can’t wait to see how well they do in the next couple of years. I’ve always been able to come in and find product for great prices not only TCG but comics as well, they also provide so many other services such as grading, laser engraving and hosting big tournaments for all TCG events. The energy from the community and the staff you couldn’t ask for a better experience.
Stay away from events here, it is very tryhard and uncomfortable. This older guy named Ryan was rudest person I’ve ever played during a pre-release event for MTG. I did 4 pre release events back for the Hobbit and this store was the worst of them all only because of this guy. He wouldn’t let you read cards and got frustrated when I asked how he was able to do something when its a NEW SET. Sorry man but everyone doesn’t study and know brand new cards like that, you don’t have to be a jerk. The owner told me the first day I walked in there awhile back that it wasn’t a try hard or rude environment and that he liked to keep it that way. Then the literal first event I play here it was miserable experience only because of this Ryan guy. The owner seems like a great dude, but the event players here seem awful, more tryhard and rude than any shop I’ve played at in the area. Ruined my time and I dropped from the event. I only decided to write this review because I saw that this same Ryan guy won the most recent Reality Fracture pre-release. Safe to say I will not be returning here for shopping or for events with this environment.
