Tim’s Baseball Card Shop is an outstanding card shop! They have a great selection of singles, and everything I’ve seen has been fairly priced. But what really stands out is the customer service. Tim and MJ are extremely knowledgeable about the card industry, and they are very straight-up when it comes to giving you their honest opinions. Tim takes the time to point you in the right direction and share his insights on cards, which I really appreciate. He’s always willing to answer questions and never makes you feel rushed or pressured. As a collector getting back into the hobby, Tim and MJ have both provided me with some great guidance and helped me get reacquainted with the hobby. That kind of personal service is hard to find these days. Now let’s talk about their products! I’ve had some of my best pulls from the hobby boxes I’ve purchased from their shop. Their selection of singles is also impressive, and the cards displayed in their showcases are always eye-catching and well worth taking a look at. Whether you’re a longtime collector, just getting back into the hobby, or completely new to baseball cards, I highly recommend stopping by Tim’s Baseball Card Shop. Great selection, fair prices, knowledgeable staff, and—most importantly—people who genuinely enjoy the hobby and want to help collectors. Been back many times, and will continue coming back!
Tim’s Baseball Card Shop is hands down my favorite card shop in Chicago. My daughter and I have been coming here together for years, and it’s become one of those places we genuinely look forward to visiting every month. Tim and MJ are local, incredibly knowledgeable, and just great people to talk cards with. We’re strictly baseball card collectors, and their selection is always fantastic, with a great mix of hobby boxes, blasters, and plenty of slabbed cards to dig through. Just as important, the pricing is always fair and I’ve never felt like they’re trying to take advantage of what’s hot at the moment. There’s also something special about supporting a true neighborhood card shop run by people who know the hobby and care about the people who walk through the door. After years of visits, it still feels like a treat every time my daughter and I walk in. Tim’s is absolutely worth a visit.
Recently stopped in to buy my son his first pack of baseball cards. Shop owner was super kind, helpful, and excited for him to start his collecting journey! Shop was nostalgic for me, and I’m so happy it exists. We’ll be back!
Tim's has become my first choice and go-to card shop in town. Tim and his mom are extremely knowledgeable about the hobby and are always helpful and kind. Tim keeps a fantastic selection of singles, packs, and boxes across sports and eras and always gives great advice on my collection. When my nephew got into baseball cards, Tim's mom was so sweet to him and even helped him set up a binder for his collection with his name on it. It's a true family-run business and I always walk out smiling!
