I’ve been going to Gameday Maverick for a while, and every time I stop by, they make me feel welcome. Even when I come in by myself, they always take care of me and treat me with respect. They support me when I was vending at card shows for the first time and they’re always willing to teach me and help me learn, even when I make mistakes. You can tell they genuinely care about the community and want everyone to succeed. On top of that, they’re just great people in general. I highly recommend Gameday Maverick to anyone looking for a friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable card shop

Great experience buying and trading cards here. Josh was super friendly and amazing with the kids — very patient and genuinely looking out for their best interests. He made it fun for them and even let them try to win a pack by making a basketball shot, which they loved. Fair trades, great atmosphere, and a shop that truly cares about collectors of all ages. We’ll definitely be back!!
I’ve been to this store several times and have continued giving it chances because I genuinely wanted to support the business. Unfortunately, after several experiences, I feel like I’ve reached the point where they’ve lost me as a customer. The first issue happened when I was looking for a complete, ready-to-play Pokémon deck. I specifically asked an employee if a product was ready to play because I wanted something I could immediately use. I trusted the product he recommended, but it turned out to be a “Build Your Deck” product rather than a ready-to-play deck. I understand that the product itself wasn’t defective, but I specifically explained what I was looking for, and I feel that the recommendation did not match what I asked for. I ended up with something I couldn’t actually play right away. Another issue was the bulk. I paid around $20 for approximately 60 bulk cards, and they weren’t even holos or anything particularly valuable. In my opinion, that was an extremely high price for what I received. More recently, I tried one of their mystery packs where the product mentioned a Gem Mint 10 card. It was never clearly explained to me that the card would specifically be CGC graded. I opened the pack and received a CGC 9. To their credit, they did give me another pack for free and allowed me to keep the original card, which I appreciate. However, I was still disappointed because I feel the product could have been explained much more clearly. There is also a random-number “spin” system. I expected an actual wheel or some sort of organized randomizer, but instead the employee simply asked Siri to choose a number between 1 and 60. This may seem like a small thing, but it added to the overall feeling that some of these experiences are being improvised rather than professionally organized. None of these incidents alone would necessarily be enough for me to stop visiting. The problem is that they have happened repeatedly, and together they have made me feel that the p
A+ experience at the shop! Singles were incredibly well organized and reasonably priced, comfy seating, sealed was well stocked, and had great feel-good movies on the TV to just relax. Jonathan was very kind and welcoming! Will be stopping back soon!
We collect pokeman cards as a family. We were around the area and we found this amazing card shop decided to stop by and check it out. Went and found out they have amazing cards to pick from and deals. The owner even gave our kids a discount and they were super happy about that. The owner also was super friendly and attentive. We will go back even though it’s on the other side of town from us and we
