Amazing experience. Never knew this gem of a store existed until a friend who’s a huge collector said it’s better than 3 top stores in NYC. When I paid them a visit, they were super friendly and knowledgeable. There was a young kid (I forget his name) but he clearly knew baseball (my passion and mostly what I collect) who explained to me the differences between the 30 different Topps collections now available. He was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond by asking my goals, motivation, reason for collecting and recommended the best value box based on my style. Very reasonably priced! With that said, I purchased the box but inquired about the $1,000 box. After a thorough explanation…I was sold. He assisted me with evaluating the cards and was genuine, caring and never once made me feel uncomfortable. He was super helpful and immediately cased my card after I pulled my dream card 1/25 Ohtani. Grateful for people like these guys who share the same passion as I. Thank you for everything Bodega and appreciate the young tall kid who immediately protected my card to preserve a potential 10/10 grading. Will be back soon

Great local card shop in Hoboken, NJ! It’s super convenient to stop in, and they always seem to have all the newest products in stock. The shop is clean, organized, and has everything a sports fan/collector would need. I really enjoy stopping in and will definitely keep coming back!
The operators and staff at Bodega Cards possess a staggering lack of business acumen, functioning as a delusional echo chamber where sheer greed completely replaces basic economics. It requires a profound level of incompetence to confidently price a $500 Vladimir Guerrero Sr. card at $2,500 based on imaginary "future potential," only to hypocritically weaponize basement level comps the second a client attempts to sell an asset to them. Beyond their embarrassing inability to grasp how a functioning market works, the staff consistently exhibits an arrogant smirk that immediately alienates serious collectors who spend six figures annually in this industry. Until they learn the basic market integrity currently only found at establishments like Tom Brady’s Card Vault, they should simply lock their absurdly overpriced inventory in a safe rather than subjecting the public to their laughable ignorance. I am not biased, but I definitely appreciate the hospitality at Tom Brady’s card vault and this is not just one of them, they all treat the customers great. Adding to Bodega Cards masterclass in terrible hospitality, a deeply condescending clerk refused to share the Wi-Fi password so I could verify actual comps, smugly claiming they "aren't obligated" to provide such an "expensive" amenity. The cheapest WiFi a month is $30 from Verizon lmao, but the best Wi-Fi in the world is Starlink, in the highest level membership for Starlink Wi-Fi a month is no more than $100. If you can’t afford to provide Wi-Fi and call it “expensive”, you should not be in business, and especially you should not be in business sitting around arguing with someone about providing the Wi-Fi password so that they can get on the Internet for a place you call a hangout space or at least or acting like it by putting chairs and areas able to sit and rip cards. It is hilariously tone-deaf to dedicate floor space for a seating lounge where patrons are supposed to hang out, yet force clients to repeatedly walk ou
The value bins are the greatest I’ve ever seen. I rode the bus about a hr so I could just go to this place. I picked up a sheadur sanders rookie kings, 20$ of singles, and a box. the guys also gave me a mag and a bag of sleeves too..
First time visiting Bodega Sports Cards. Overall, I like the store and they have a decent selection, so I’ll definitely come back. That said, the customer service was a little disappointing. It took about five minutes before anyone even acknowledged me or asked if I had any questions, and when I did interact with the staff, they came across as somewhat short and unwelcoming. I also found it strange that there was basically no negotiation on individual cards because they’re a consignment shop (I did pick up a Lawrence Taylor card). I had a unique signed Eli Manning card with me that I wasn’t looking to sell, but asked their opinion on value and was told $100, which seemed absurdly low. Cool store and I’ll give it another shot, but the customer experience could definitely be better.
