A local home for collectors.
I’ve been twice now while in the area visiting family, both for Gundam TCG events. The store and staff have been nice, but both events had a problem with players not dropping events and just leaving, which resulted in me waiting for 1.5h between the two events for games which did not happen. There was also open discussion of match fixing between players at today’s Newtype event (where they would concede on match start to give a win) which is a bit cringe for a local event I have never experienced this toxic behaviour before so consistently in any other store. If players are coming to win and not play the game and don’t care about pushing the “retire” button in an app on their phones when leaving, the store needs to encourage them. A really easy way to do this is to provide promos on exit. When I mentioned this in person I was told “you get a win still”, but it doesn’t feel like winning when I’m spending my time waiting for a nonexistent opponent. It just ruins the game for people who actually want to play for enjoyment/fun and not exclusively prizing.2c:T545,{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"Store","name":"Forgotten Path Games","url":"https://cardshopdir.com/shop/forgotten-path-games-vacaville-ca","image":"https://assert.cardshopdir.com/shops/forgotten-path-games-vacaville-ca.jpg","telephone":"(707) 474-9834","website":"https://forgottenpathgames.com/","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","streetAddress":"1919 Peabody Road","addressLocality":"Vacaville","addressRegion":"CA","postalCode":"95687","addressCountry":"United States"},"geo":{"@type":"GeoCoordinates","latitude":"38.3372696","longitude":"-121.9699673"},"aggregateRating":{"@type":"AggregateRating","ratingValue":"4.6","reviewCount":207},"openingHoursSpecification":[{"@type":"OpeningHoursSpecification","dayOfWeek":["Monday"],"opens":"11:00","closes":"22:00"},{"@type":"OpeningHoursSpecification","dayOfWeek":["Tuesday"],"opens":"11:00","closes":"22:00"},{"@type":"OpeningHoursSpecification","dayOfWeek":["Wed
