The Card Shoppe is a trading card shop in El Cajon, California. They specialize in mixed TCG and sports-card inventory. Hours: Sunday 11:00–18:00, Monday 11:00–19:00, Tuesday 11:00–19:00, Wednesday 11:00–19:00, Thursday 11:00–19:00, Friday 11:00–19:00, Saturday 11:00–19:00.
A local home for collectors.
This is a great card shop, it's the perfect size, where you don't feel lost and not sure where to Pony up to the counter. It's also tucked away so it has kind of a Secret Club vibe in my opinion. The owner is a very nice guy who always remembers my son's name when he walks through the door. The owner is very well-versed in baseball football and Pokemon although we focus on the major sports cards. The store does have a really nice selection of Pokemon. For the size of the shop you really can't beat the selection, they carry so many boxes and different variations and the owner can tell you all about the different inclusions within each box and what the benefits are. Some of the bigger card stores in the area don't have a fraction of the inventory this card shop has. By far this is our favorite stop each week, just stop in and say hi and pick up some great cards. We always enjoy our visit.
