Tier 1 Cards & Games
Tier 1 Cards & Games is a trading card shop in Anchorage, Alaska. They specialize in mixed TCG and sports-card inventory. Hours: Sunday 10:00–19:00, Monday 11:00–21:00, Tuesday 11:00–21:00, Wednesday 11:00–21:00, Thursday 11:00–22:00, Friday 11:00–22:00, Saturday 10:00–19:00.
A local home for collectors.
This card shop uses market pricing for new releases, which in the card world, is boosted by scalpers and terrible online buying practice (Wizards, et em). Since I have never owned a card shop, I don't want to bash this card store specifically, because most do it, but I wish it wasn't true. Local card stores are the consumers access point to the product we all love and cherish. In my mind, at least sell products to your local enthusiasts at MSRP for a few weeks before jacking prices up. Local people support your store and community, support them too. I hope the card market can reshape itself.
